Fruit is a great addition to breakfast or as a snack.  Make the most of what’s in season.  These freshly picked figs were cut in half and baked.  I had them with my coconut chia pudding and granola.  You could have them on top of porridge or black rice pudding.  You could have with yogurt or nuts as a snack.  That means the protein and fat in the yogurt or nuts helps slow the sugars down in the fruit.
